The afternoon session on the Stand today showcased the appointment of the Chinese Contractor BCEG as the construction partner for the Airport City Development, in joint venture including Argent.
BCEG themselves introduced the session proudly marking their entry into the UK and European market and confirming the plans to take the Airport City back to China to promote UK connectivity to 3 major cities including Beijing.
David Partridge of Argent developed the powerful tag line “connecting an intelligent city” and introduced a short film about the scheme – “Built for business. Designed for life.”
David also confirmed the recent announcement of Airport City’s first deal which is with DHL.
In David’s words, Airport City is not just about aviation, transport and infrastructure, it is fundamentally about connectivity. Connectivity to the rest of the UK and connectivity of the Manchester region to the rest of the world.
