The Tuesday Manchester Stand event, had Rowena Burns (CEO of Manchester Science Park) giving a superb presentation on the development of the Science Corridor and Manchester’s world leading position in Life Science technology.
The MSP will be doubling in size and the North Campus will (when fully developed) be twice as big as Spinningfields.
The centre piece of the presentation was a flask of “rogue protein” a new technology designed to deliver medicines in a more digestible and efficient form. All coming out of the Manchester Life Sciences economy, contributing £4.7bn to UK GVA.
This is fast becoming a major element of Manchester’s nascent property and real estate recovery.
