NI: Unionists call for wholesale Public Procurement reform in wake of NIAO Report

Yesterday we posted on the claims set out in the NIAO Report that Northern Ireland could save £140m from its public procurement bill if there was more effective cross-departmental collaboration on procurement processes and procedures.

It has not taken long for the politicians to sniff out a bandwagon. The Ulster Unionists are now calling for wholesale reform:
