Canada: 71% of Federal Procurement staff “guided by an environmental policy”

The “greening” of public procurement practice (as opposed to the legal and procedural framework which underpins it was always going to be more a gradual process of osmosis rather than a sudden transformational change.

This is evidenced in Canada where, as this Daily Commercial News piece reveals, attitudes and practices at the sharp end of public procurement are now increasingly influenced by environmental issues and the pace of change is not slowing down.
