The Department of Health has appointed four suppliers, including US firm Vangent Inc, to its Managed Contact Centre Services Framework Agreement following the completion of a Competitive Dialogue.
The framework will be used to provide Contact Centre Services across health and social care bodies throughout the UK.
These services will offer a flexible on-demand solution for use in all or any of the following scenarios:
i) Pandemic (including but not limited to delivery of Contact Centre Services for the National Pandemic Flu Service);
ii) Any other health-related emergency circumstances;
iii) Any other health-related activities that require contact centre service support.
The service will be required to provide a comprehensive solution that will be managed by the selected provider(s).
The other successful appointees are: Capita Customer Management Limited, Conduit UK and MM Teleperformance Limited.
