UK Government EU Scrutiny Committee supports proposed regulation of Third Country Access

The European Scrutiny Committee welcomes the predicted £200m bounce to the UK economy which could follow on from the implementation of proposed regulations for procurement between EU Member States and third countries.

This is seen as particularly attractive in circumstances where the preferred UK government strategy of addressing the issue by means of multilateral and unilateral negotiations is regarded as less then effective.
