End users likely to be hit by cost of Forestry sector procurement reform

Creating a “level playing field” for the procurement of plants, shrubs and trees across Europe will result in significant cost increases to the ultimate purchasers.

Pan-European trade bodies are engaging with the Commission to advance to interests of their members but the stark warning is that price increases are unlikely to be borne in full by the industry.
